The New Forester Pickup Truck.
Written by Thomas Paine - Phizinza
This conversion has been posted on the USMB forum. Check out the post here!

This Photochop is of the Subaru Forester. I was asked to photochop it into a pickup truck as it would make a fn and useful ride. It would have a long tray. And the ability to go anywhere just like every other Subaru! I would still prefer to see the new Brat. But I think I have made this Forester look quite entertaining.

The original Subaru Forester I decided to work with. I pick this one because It had an easy background to work with, the other option had lots of pavers and bricks... I also thought picking the front of the car with a diagonal would be a bit more of a challenge then how I done the Brat (at the top of the page)

Slice and Dice. Well, where should I start... I decided to do the Forester into a ute when I posted the STi Convertible on the USMB forum. Some one said I should do a Forester as a Pickup as it has a longer tray then the Brat. And there for would make a very useful Pickup Truck. As I started on this one it looked pretty easy. Then I found out there was a lot more to do then I thought. I had to re-draw most of the interior, except the driver ;-). I had to re-create the background where I took off the wagon part. I had to re-shape the body for the tray and use the new pillar I created using the back of the Forester. So, there was lots to do and its all done for your pleasure to look at.

What I used and how I used it. For the new Forester Pickup I used a free program that came with my scanner. Its called iPhoto Express, its a cut down version of iPhoto 4. I used the "Clone" tool. The "Clone" tool is great, just select a part of the picture and then past that part all over the place. Its very good for creating new bushes, plants, and background. But its also very useful with reshaping the car, as it can keep the shading right. I also used the "Smudge" tool a lot. It is good for softening up the look of the "Cloned" area, also its good for dragging extensions of the car in a certain way.
I hope you have enjoyed this photochop of the Subaru Forester.
I thought you people out there would like to see a Subaru Forester Lifted. And what better then a Forester Pickup Truck to be lifted. I had to use the "magic wand" and select the hole body of the car and then drag it upwards. I selected pretty close to the body to try and not get any of the background, but I got some of cause. So I used the "Clone" tool and touched it up around the edges. I also had to re-draw some of the tires as there is more showing on the lifted Subaru then the non lifted one.
