well i reckon u should use what holden use on their pannels, 0.4mm!
I think u would be best to talk to some engineers or see if u can get in touch with the guys that organise the events. find out what the standard is.

The buggies I have played with used 1.5mm (I think) or maybe 2mm 1.5 inch pipe but they had tripple side bars and full roll cage... that was about all there was to the whole cars actually :thumbup:. Since you have the wight of a chissis to manage aswell then maybe go thicker on the roll cage so you don't have to repair it after every fuckup :tooth: and the best thing on them was a spring loaded front bumper with those triangular rubber bumpers you see on loading docks for when you over shoot a corner and have an intimate experiance with the local flora :banghead:.

Well it's either gonna be 32nb pipe with a 3.2mm wall or with a 4mm wall. Depending on what I can get. 4mm would be better as it also brings the OD to 40mm which will suit the bender better. Although it would be harder to bend.. Ahh, always can use some heat to soften it.
