wouldnt mind tagging along also mate, been thinking about driving down there with the old boy {also drives a suby}.
we went to the fishing comp at kingston over the jan weekend and the two nights we stayed there both had king tides not as bad as a couple years ago but there was still no beach left. id advise stay and camp high.

hey you know what, i also had a few people i know go down there in search of cockles the other weekend too! and they struggled to rake up a decent amount!...when a few of us went there in early november we got soo many(obviously, with the cockling season opening on the Nov 1st)....many months worth we got! $15 p/Kg these days...definitely worth doing it yaself! i still have a fair few bags......

we went to the fishing comp at kingston over the jan weekend

how'd ya go? any good catches?
-----

im still undecided on when a date will be concrete...but a possibitlity is early or mid march weekends...either...

again...will post the date when i know.....

Just notifying the people who were keen for murray mouth fish.....the trip will be March 6th til the 8th or 9th.....i hear its adelaide cup day monday so dont have to work monday yeeeewww! i will quite possibly be there from 6-9th.....it'll probably go like this.....friday arvo(6th) cruise up there while its still light after work and fish ALOT.

let me know if anyone will come along cos we might wanna 'convoy' down to the mouth...unless people are cool with a 'meet at the mouth' approach....im not fussed...i'll have a snatchy with me and my mate is taking his vitara so im all right, if anyone gets stuck for any reason(even though he's light enough to push out!) ...but if your on your own we could wait at the goolwa carpark to cruise togeth,.. let me know if you'll come!
