Yeah I understand that, I've redrilled rims before. Did you do the 60 degree taper? I couldn't find a milling centre drill cheap enough and large enough so I sharpened up a 7/8 bit to 60 degrees combined. Bit jittery, and rough but worked a treat still.

Did you make that hard cover?

yep made the hard cover, sheet of ply, sheet of galvanised steel, 4ft piano hinge , bmw rear spoiler lol just to break it up a bit ,ford escort rear hatch gas struts the ridges are 5mmx60 flat bar covered with electrical conduit , the car and the top was repainted using a 6" Sponge Roller  :D not perfection but if you take your time a brilliant job for the money  :D

here's the spoiler and door which were both painted with the sponge roller, anyone who wants to try it,rub the panel down,use a sponge roller and paint it,rub it down with 800 wet/dry and paint it again,rub down again with 800 wet/dry paint it again,you'll be surprised how good it looks,

Yeah my brother looked into sponge roller painting. Can get some pretty good finishes if you sand the final job well enough.
Well done with the hard cover, not keen on the spoiler but that is all personal choice and I think you done a good job with it.

cheers  :)   i used a 24mm countersink bit for the stud hole's and measured very carefully lol its comparable with the original subaru wheels and the nuts seem to fit nicely,spoilers ace with the L.E.D brakelight  :D
