The Convertible WRX STi.

I was just playing around with idea I haven't seen yet. An Subaru convertible. Since making this I have found out that there is in fact Subaru convertibles out there. I am not sure If they are factory, or if they are just converted by some one. Anywho, this is what I have came up with. I first shortened the STi. Then painted the background in over the roof. I left the spoiler at first, but not many people on the forum liked the look of it. So when I got back to work on it I took it off. After shortening it, I had to reangle the spoiler. I fixed the image up so you couldn't see the back doors through the windscreen, un like other photochops I have seen. When I remodelled the spoiler'd one. I also flattened out the windscreen. My brother said it looks more like a Mercedes now, and not like a STi WV Golf! Anyway, heres the pictures!

This is the beast I started with. Very sweet car, But theres always something you can do with a car, even an STi . This is the wagon I used. I think its a WRX STi, But I am not sure. I thought it would be a great car to base the New Brat on. I just love that blue. If I ever get enough money together, I'm painting my Brat that blue!

What I used and how I used it
. For the new STi convertible I used a free program that came with my scanner. Its called iPhoto Express, its a cut down version of iPhoto 4. I used the "Clone" tool. The "Clone" tool is great, just select a part of the picture and then past that part all over the place. Its very good for creating new bushes, plants, and background. But its also very useful with reshaping the car, as it can keep the shading right. I also used the "Smudge" tool a lot. It is good for softening up the look of the "Cloned" area, also its good for dragging extensions of the car in a certain way.
I hope you have enjoyed this car. I am trully sorry if you were tricked into thinking this car is real.
Here's the beast. The new, awesome, beast. The Subaru Brat!!! Its been 29 years since the first ever Subaru Brat hit the roads. I think it would make an awesome 30th anniversary Brat. Read on further down and email me! This could be our chance! Lets make this beauty happen!
